“Economy and Tourism” honors members of the “Ambassador” program

The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism has honored 47 members of the “Ambassador” program, for their exceptional efforts that contributed to adding 52 new business activities, from international conferences and meetings, to the schedule of events in Dubai in the coming years, and will attract more than 34 thousand participants.

The annual award ceremony, which was held at the “Address Sky View Dubai” hotel, included members of the program who represent institutions from various professional sectors and fields, and were honored through four categories of awards, in appreciation of their active role in attracting those activities that will contribute to enhancing the city’s position, A global destination for business, innovation and knowledge exchange.

According to the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, the “Ambassador” program, which is supervised by “Dubai Business Events”, is the official office for attracting events and conferences in the city, an important role in working to provide hosting bids, to enable Dubai to win the hosting of many major international business activities, And enhancing its position in hosting major global events, which contributes to diversifying the Dubai economy.

In the current year’s edition, the ambassadors were honored in four categories: local, regional and international events, in addition to the Dubai Center for Economic and Vocational Agencies, a new category that was created to honor the members of the center.

The 47 winners have represented many sectors and professional fields, including health care, technology, academic institutions, and companies, which reflect the diversity of the efforts of the “ambassador” program and its broad impact on strengthening Dubai World’s reputation.
