“Dubai Aviation Industries” accounts for 17 billion dollars

Dubai Aviation Industries has signed agreements with many parties to acquire 17 aircraft with a total value of about one billion dollars.

A statement issued yesterday said that this portfolio consists of fully of the new generation aircraft, 89% of which are aircraft with narrow body, and are divided into 80% of the production of “Airbus” and 20% of the production of “Boeing”, knowing that the 17 aircraft leased to 11 airlines in 10 countries.

Upon completion of the deal, it is expected for these aircraft to reduce the average age of the fleet of passengers at Dubai Aviation Industries to 6.9 years and raise the average period of the remaining period of lease contracts for the passenger aircraft to 6.6 years.

It is also expected when completing the deal, as well, the “Dubai Aviation Industries” fleet will consist of 46% of “Airbus” aircraft, 49% of “Boeing” and 5% of “ATR 72-600” aircraft.

“In line with our commitment to improving our fleet of new generation aircraft and reducing the average life of the fleet, we are pleased to add these fuel -saving aircraft, and equipped with modern technology, to our portfolio, and these agreements allow us to enhance our relationship with our global customer base from airlines, and we welcome the return of three airlines as Dubai Airlines customers.”
