The Jogitsu Federation adopts the budget for the Sports season 2025

The Emirates Jujitsu Federation’s Board of Directors held its periodic meeting at the Federation’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi, and reviewed the upcoming championship program in the agenda of the current season, and the proposed schedule of the 17th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Championship for the Jujitsu Professionals, as well as the continental and international participation of the national team.

During the meeting, the budget was discussed and adopted for the Sports season 2025, in line with the strategic goals of the federation, and ensures the sustainability of programs aimed at enriching the local jujitsu, and continuing to upgrade the level of planned championships.

The meeting was chaired by the President of the Emirati and Asian Federations, First Deputy President of the International Federation of Jujitsu, Abdel Moneim Al -Hashemi, attended by the Vice -President of the Federation, Muhammad Salem Al -Dhaheri, and the members of the Board of Directors: Muhammad Al -Dhahiri, Youssef Al -Batran, Mansour Al -Dhaheri, Member of the Board of Directors of the Federation, Fahd Al Shamsi, Director of Technical Administration, Mubarak Al -Menhali, and Director of Marketing and Institutional Communication Department, Muhammad Al -Marzouki.

The meeting reviewed the achievements that have been achieved since the beginning of the current season, and adopted the agenda of local and international events and participants for the new season, as well as the plans and strategies prescribed for the next stage, aimed at supporting Jujitsu, enhancing their spread and providing players with all the requirements to continue the march of achievements and consolidating the Emirati leadership of Jujitsu sport worldwide. The meeting reviewed the proposed schedule for the 17th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Championship for the Jujitsu Professionals, scheduled for next November, and reviewed the latest preparations for the start of the championship and emphasizing organizational and logistical readiness, ensuring the sustainability of its distinction.

The Vice -President of the Federation, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Championship, Mohamed Al Dhaheri, affirmed that the tournament continues to establish its position as the most important and the largest Jujitsu championships in the world, pointing to the keenness to organize an exceptional version worthy of the name of Abu Dhabi and its position as the global capital of the jujitsu sport.

With regard to preparing for international participation, the meeting discussed plans to prepare the national team for the upcoming entitlements, and the intensive training program that includes internal and external camps to raise the level of technical and physical readiness for players and support them to continue the march of excellence and achieve achievements in various regional and international benefits. The national team’s participation program was also adopted in its various age groups, while emphasizing the importance of preserving the continental and international forefront.

The 2025 international participants program includes the World Jugitsu World Championships in Thailand, the West Asian Championship in Jordan, the World Youth World Cup in Croatia, the Asian Youth Games Championship in Bahrain, and the World Games in China.

A comprehensive report was also reviewed on the reality of jujitsu in clubs, which included the most prominent challenges and opportunities, in addition to analyzing the current situation and offering a number of development proposals aimed at supporting clubs in developing the level of players and expanding the base of practitioners.

The meeting dealt with the efforts of the Federation in terms of developing Jujitsu and consolidating its presence locally, regionally and globally, by holding more partnerships with the most important institutions of the public and private sectors, because of this great impact on achieving the goals of the federation and enhancing awareness of sports, and consolidating the position of Abu Dhabi as a global capital of it.
