Bodybuilding team wins Champions Cup and 5 medals in West Asia Championship

Yesterday, the national bodybuilding team won the Champion of Champions Cup and five colored medals, in addition to two professional cards, at the opening of the “Physique” competitions, within the West Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Championship hosted by the Sultanate of Oman, with the participation of 270 players from 13 countries.

Maher Khalil Al-Badawi won the gold medal in the physique over 179 cm, the Champion of Champions Cup and a professional card, while his colleague Ali Al-Jasmi won the gold medal in the physique category of 173 cm, and Salem Al-Sulaimani won the gold medal in the physique under 179 cm and a professional card, while Abdullah Al-Khattal won the silver medal in the physique for the master category, and Abdullah Al-Bastaki won the bronze medal in the youth category in the physique.

Player Issam Al-Ghas won fourth place in “Master Physique”, Rashid Al-Muhairi won sixth place in “Muscular Physique”, and Abdullah Hassan Juma won sixth place in the Physique category under 176 cm.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, stressed that the UAE champions showed great technical levels in the competitions, reflecting the development witnessed by the game in the country.
