“Legends Cup” in Dubai.. John Terry challenges Edgar

Dubai will bring together the world’s most prominent football stars in the “Football Legends Cup” match, which will be held in cooperation with the “Dubai Sports Council” at Al Maktoum Stadium at Al Nasr Sports Club on November 30, 2024. The match will see two teams face off: the “Kings X1” team and the “Hedge & Sachs” team, and each team will include a number of football stars who have shone in the European leagues.

The details of the event were announced during a press conference held at Al Nasr Club yesterday, during which Sheikh Khalifa bin Saeed bin Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, owner of the Kings X1 team, Edgar Davids, former Dutch national team and Juventus star and captain of the Kings X1 team, John Terry, former England national team and Chelsea captain and captain of the Hedge & Sachs team, Marouane Fellaini, former Belgian national team and Manchester United star and player of the Hedge & Sachs team, Ali Omar Al Balooshi, Director of Sports Events Department at the Dubai Sports Council, Mohammed Musa, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the event, and Shivansh Ranjit, owner of the Hedge & Sachs team, spoke.

Sheikh Khalifa bin Saeed bin Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum said: “I am happy to be part of this tournament. The continuity of the tournament confirms the success of the first edition, and provides all the means to achieve success for any sporting event, starting with the community groups that belong to more than 200 nationalities, the sports facilities, the wonderful atmosphere, and the quality of life that motivates everyone to enjoy every opportunity to attend various events.”
