More than 600 competitors from different nationalities participated in the 15th edition of the Ice Obstacle Challenge “Snow Challenge”, organized by the Dubai Sports Council and Majid Al Futtaim Company, at Ski Dubai amid temperatures of four degrees below zero.
The competitions were attended by Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council, Nasser Al Rahma, Assistant Secretary General, Ibrahim Khadem, Board Member of the Winter Sports Federation, Ignace Lahoud, CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment, Mohammed Al Otri, General Manager of Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment, Mohammed Al Atari, Vice President of Global Snow Projects at Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment, Entertainment and Cinema, Mohammed Al Atari, and Ali Omar, Director of Sports Events Management at the Council.
Norway’s Halvard Borsheim won first place in the professional men’s category, Ukraine’s Tetiana Maltseva won the women’s professional category, Russia’s Mikhail Rodik (men’s amateur category), Spain’s Luz Barrios (women’s amateur category), and the Kebab Glorious team (team category).
