His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, directed the disbursement of a generous amount of 36 million dirhams as a reward to the clubs of the Emirate of Sharjah that achieved sporting achievements in the last season (2023-2024), in appreciation of the contributions of the club teams and to motivate their players to continue their excellence and excellence in achieving Titles and championships locally and internationally at the level of team and individual games.
His Highness directed that the donation, which is considered the largest in the history of the Emirate of Sharjah and its clubs, be disbursed immediately so that sports clubs can benefit from it in preparing for the new sports season, supporting their sports games, and preparing players for future benefits, in order to reap more achievements and titles at the local and continental levels.
The honor included 19 clubs in the emirate that won titles and championships last season, and they are as follows: 10 sports clubs: Sharjah, Kalba, Kalba Football Company, Al Bataeh, Khor Fakkan, Al Hamriya, Dibba Al Hisn, Al Dhaid, Al Madam, and Maliha. There are 8 specialized clubs: Sharjah Equestrian and Racing, Sharjah Self-Defense Sports, Sharjah Marine Sports, Sharjah Chess, Sharjah Girls Chess, Al-Thiqa for the Disabled, Khor Fakkan for the Disabled, and Sharjah for Falconers, in addition to the Sharjah Women’s Sports Club.
