Emirates Airlines unveiled a new livery for one of its Airbus A380 aircraft, bearing the logo of the American Professional Basketball League (NBA), to celebrate the start of the 2024-2025 season, as the official global airline partner of the American National Basketball Association, and the name partner of the competition. The design includes the NBA logo and basketball graphics. The letters “Emirates Airlines” turned red, instead of the unique gold font used by the carrier. The new appearance of the airframe is completed by a red engine cover decorated with the white line that forms the “Emirates Airlines” logo.
The Airbus A380 was completely repainted as part of a project that included design, painting, production and installation. This mission took 19 days.
The plane carrying the new livery is scheduled to depart for New York John F. Kennedy Airport on flight No. EK201 on the 22nd of this month.
