The field campaign targeted truck drivers and heavy vehicles in the truck rest stops located on Emirates Road and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, and included the distribution of in-kind gifts and awareness leaflets through the response code (QR Code) to drivers in three languages: (Arabic, English, and Urdu) about the dates of the ban times and detailed maps. The Roads and Transport Authority prohibits truck traffic on some streets and roads in the Emirate of Dubai at different times, depending on the axis and region. Truck traffic is prohibited at all times on the main roads within the Emirate of Dubai, such as Al Ittihad Street, Al Meydan Street, and all crossings. Other streets, such as Sheikh Zayed Road and nearby residential areas, are subject to traffic.
