The woman accused of cooking her lover denies committing the crime

The lawyer, Khalid bin Jamhour Al-Ahbabi, said that his client (H – 37 years old), who is accused of killing her lover, cutting him into three parts, and cooking him in boiling water, inside her home in the Oud Al-Tawbah area in the city of Al-Ain, during the month of November last year, denied it before the Criminal Department in Al Ain Court of First Instance charged her with the murder of her lover (29 years old), who works as a tailor of the same nationality, during her trial in the last two sessions.

Al-Ahbabi explained to Emirates Al-Youm that the Public Prosecution stated in the indictment that the accused killed the victim with premeditation, stressing that some of the details published on social media sites, finally, have no connection to the truth.

He added that the accused was born in 1981, is of the nationality of an Arab country, is married and has children who live with her husband in her country, works as a seamstress in a women’s shop, and has lived in the country for 10 years. She met her victim’s lover (single) of the same nationality, and works as a tailor in Another women’s shop, for seven years, lives near her home in the Oud Al Tawba area in Al Ain.

Al-Ahbabi said that the crime, according to the case papers, occurred on November 3 of last year, when the accused went to the house of her lover (the victim), with whom she had intimate relations, on the night of the incident, to spend the night with him and his friends in the shared residence, adding that everyone was in a normal state, The evening ended at approximately three o’clock in the morning on Friday, November 3rd of last year, when the young man (W) drove his lover (H) to her home, according to the testimony of witnesses who were present at the evening.

He explained that the investigations reported that (W) phoned (H) at noon on the same day, asking to have lunch with her at home, and the woman welcomed him. After he arrived at her house, he asked her to go with him on a trip to Jebel Hafeet, but she refused and informed him that she was about to Moving to another house, she asked him to help move the furniture instead of going to the mountain, and a dispute broke out between them, which developed into verbal altercations, and the young man verbally assaulted the accused and hit her in the face.

Investigations continued that (W) pulled (H) by her hair downward, until it reached the level of her head at the level of the table next to which she was standing, and her eyes fell on a knife on the table, so she picked it up and stabbed the victim with it in the chest, causing him to bleed and lead to his death.

She indicated that as soon as the accused saw the blood, she was terrified and in a bad psychological state, and did not know how to act, and she tried to hide the features of the crime and dispose of the body, by cutting it with a knife into three parts (the head, the upper part, and the lower part), and she put the parts in pots and boiled them in hot water until she could Separating the parts from the bones.

The lawyer added, according to the case papers, that the accused put the body parts in two bags and threw them in two waste containers in an attempt to hide the crime. He continued that after the victim was absent from his home for several days, one of his friends filed a report with the police about his absence, where the police conducted a search and investigation operation, and summoned the accused. To ask her about the victim’s absence.

Investigations revealed that after several days had passed, the police summoned the accused, searched her house, and found small parts of the body at the crime scene. The accused voluntarily confessed to killing her lover as a result of disagreements between them.

Al-Ahbabi confirmed that the accused denied committing the murder during the last trial sessions, which were held before the Criminal Chamber of the Al Ain Court of First Instance, and the court set December 31 as the date to complete consideration of the case.

Rumors hurt the case

The legal advisor at Khalid Bin Jamhour Law Firm and Legal Consultations, Muhammad Abdullah, said that the details of the crime published on social media sites have nothing to do with the truth, and social media pioneers must be careful and not address rumors that may harm the case and are inconsistent with the legal principle. “The accused is innocent until proven guilty,” pointing out that social media users must not defame the accused, and give her an opportunity to defend herself away from her conviction, indicating that using social media sites Social media illegally, exposing its users to criminal accountability in accordance with the law.


The accused is married and has children who reside with her husband in her country.
