In detail, the Secretary -General of the Fund, Dr. Abdullah Al -Ansari, told «Emirates Today»: “We have a plan to eliminate poverty or limit it in Ajman, consistent with the nature and role of the fund, and coincides with the date of the vision of Ajman 2021.”

He explained that «the international poverty line set the daily per capita income rate between one dollar to two dollars, meaning that everyone who achieves this daily income or less of it is classified in the category In Ajman, it must be inserted into the plan aimed at combating poverty. ”

He pointed out that «the plan to fight poverty extends from the current year until 2021, and we started the process of collecting information and data, in coordination and cooperation with many government agencies in Ajman, especially the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Statistical Center, and the various parties concerned and related to such an idea and the plan and its applications. .

Al -Ansari added that the plan to fight poverty is based on working to rehabilitate at least one individual from every poor family, by qualifying and training in a professional field for a period of six months, and then entering the field of work, pointing to many institutions and entities that operate for example These categories, such as facilitation centers, commercial institutions, as well as people can be trained and qualified to work in the field of security. He added that this step contributes to providing the individual skills and information to work, instead of receiving help.
