Mohamed Al Sharqi witnesses the Arab Taekwondo Championship competitions and crowns the winners

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, witnessed a part of the fifth edition of the Arab Taekwondo Championship, which is held in the Zayed Sports Complex in Fujairah, and honored the winners.

His Highness won the Olympic Champions with medals in the Paris Olympics, and the golden tourists in the Fifth Arab Championship for Taekwondo, the Tunisian champion Firas Al -Qantousi, the Paris 2024 Olympic Gold, and the Jordanian champion Zaid Karim, the Silver Silver Olympics of the Paris 2025 Olympics.

His Highness affirmed the leading global status of the Emirate of Fujairah in organizing and hosting sports championships, pointing to the support and follow -up of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, for the sports sector and the requirements of its development and enhancing its competitiveness, with the aim of achieving the state’s vision in this field.

His Highness praised the advanced technical and administrative levels of the championship, and its goals that attract athletes from the Arab world to compete on Fujairah, and achieve the best results that support the development of the sports sector at the national, regional and international levels.

His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah also honored the heads of Arab federations, headed by a member of the Executive Office of the International Federation, President of the Arab Federation and the Mediterranean Federation, the Royal Moroccan University of Taekwondo, Idris Al -Hilali, and a number of tournament guests.

The Arab Cup championship started last Wednesday and concluded yesterday, with the participation of more than 1534 athletes.

The championship was attended by President of the International Taekwondo Federation, Dr. Chung Won Shui, President of the Emirates Taekwondo Federation, Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al -Zyoudi, and heads of Arab federations.
