Emirati national companies, working in the industrial sector, reported that they have developed new models that depend on artificial intelligence, with national arms, according to their needs, and also trained hundreds of its employees at different levels, on the areas of artificial intelligence, noting that it uses innovative applications for artificial intelligence In its operations, with the aim of increasing production, improving quality, reducing costs, delivery times, supporting and developing research and development, customer satisfaction, fabrication and reducing energy consumption.

She noted, to «Emirates Today», that there are several challenges related to the use of artificial intelligence, on top of which is the integration of old systems and new digital platforms and their inclusion in the existing infrastructure, while ensuring the smoothness of operations and the lack of industrial solutions fully ready in the markets.

In detail, the CEO of the Emstil Group, Eng. Saeed Ghamran Al -Rumaithi, said that “the group succeeded in implementing more than 30 practical applications for artificial intelligence, during the last period, and achieved exceptional results on the Sa’idi efficiency and cost,” noting that the “group” keenness. On the accuracy of technological processes to ensure the highest quality standards, while controlling thousands of technical data that go beyond manufacturing operations to include commercial, financial, health, safety, research, development, and others.

He explained that “Emple” is working to achieve the maximum benefit from the capabilities of the tool of the delivery times supported by artificial intelligence to improve sales planning and operations, to enhance the implementation of demands, reduce costs, increase efficiency, reduce delivery times, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Al -Rumaithi pointed out that the “group” has applied several advanced solutions based on artificial intelligence to predict technological standards in complex industrial processes with high energy consumption such as “electric arc” and “direct reduction factories” to provide operators with accurate data that support the decision -making decisions on reliable information .

He noted that the “group” has developed the first global system for monitoring and adopting “sustainable iron” using artificial intelligence, and depends on cloud software to calculate emissions at the level of smelting and ensure the tracking -based tracee technology and allows a digital portfolio to save and circulate carbon assets, indicating that ” The group »depends on an innovative program to employ artificial intelligence in the preparation of sustainability reports.

He stressed that the “group” takes comprehensive measures to ensure a safe work environment for its employees, by creating an advanced tool to improve safety standards in the work environment, depending on artificial intelligence and computer vision, through smart safety cameras that depend on the technology (recognition of images) with artificial intelligence , To reveal not to wear personal protection equipment or unsafe behavior for sites on sites.

He revealed that the “group” is currently working on developing a model based on artificial intelligence and machine learning, to create a fully independent “sensory product” for the vibrations Artificial intelligence in the field of health and safety to enhance employee protection and improve the work environment.

He pointed out that the adoption of artificial intelligence in the field of manufacturing is witnessing an accelerated growth, but there are a number of major challenges, foremost of which is the lack of industrial solutions fully ready in the market Technology and specialists in the industrial fields to ensure effective practical applications for artificial intelligence, accelerate the pace of artificial intelligence, and ensure the availability of skilled cadres in the fields of data science, machine learning and managing artificial intelligence systems, given the general complexity of these technologies.

For his part, the CEO of the Emirates International Aluminum Company, Abdel Nasser bin Kalban, said that “there are strong opportunities to create more added value through the fourth industrial revolution applications, which play a fundamental role in enhancing the competitiveness of the company that has implemented more than 80 applications for technologies The fourth industrial revolution and artificial intelligence, within the framework of the digital transformation plan. These applications include all the administrative and operational company works such as quality control systems supported by artificial intelligence in the factory, to the systems of analyzing the basic commodity market expectations.

Bin Kalban explained that the “company” has achieved cost savings exceeding 365 million dirhams through the implementation of these applications and improvement of quality, safety and sustainability, noting that the company’s new digital manufacturing platform contributes to reducing the cost of conducting photo and video analyzes based on artificial intelligence by more than 80 %, With an increase in the speed of its implementation by up to 13 times compared to the solutions previously adopted by the company.

He noted that the “company” focused on enabling and raising the workforce skills in the digital fields to enable digital transformation on a large scale in the operations of all the company.

Bin Kalban stressed that the “company” continues to achieve a qualitative shift in all aspects of its business depending on the applications of the fourth industrial revolution and artificial intelligence, especially since these applications provide unlimited opportunities and capabilities to advance the growth of the industrial sector, through “automation”, product development, quality control and support The integration of the value chain, as it contributes to improving the efficiency of industrial, quality and safety processes, indicating that the industrial technologies that were developed locally in the company’s sites in (Al -Tawila) and are based on advanced applications, depend on automatic learning to reduce the work stops by 50%, and the limit Of 18%unproductive work times, and enhancing equipment efficiency by 12%.

He pointed out that “the applications of the fourth industrial revolution and artificial intelligence play a strong role in promoting sustainability, as the company uses modern data centers and cloud computing systems to improve the environmental sustainability of the infrastructure of computing operations,” noting that in 2024 the company launched the first data centers in the sector Industrial, it works completely with renewable energy in its headquarters in Jabal Ali and Al -Tila, and contributes to the expansion of the use of artificial intelligence solutions and automation in the company’s industrial processes, while reducing the total energy consumption in the field of information technology by 50%.

Bin Kalban has identified some of the challenges related to artificial intelligence in the industrial sector, including the integration of old systems and new digital platforms and their inclusion in the existing infrastructure, while ensuring the smoothness of operations and the difficulty of using ready -made or model digital solutions, which called on the company to develop its own technologies and the applications of the fourth industrial revolution and intelligence Artificial in the aluminum sector, with national arms according to its needs.

In the same context, the general manager and owner of the UAE company “Sigon” for the medical equipment industry, Dr. Saeed Al Hammadi, said that the (company) uses artificial intelligence at the present time in searches, development and operations aimed at producing new products in the field of examination, diagnosis, collecting information and previous experiences. To take advantage of them, by relying on national arms and experiences.

Al -Hammadi explained that the «company» uses artificial intelligence, as well as to predict any breakdowns in manufacturing devices and machines, and analyze data to improve production efficiency, and determine the company’s absorptive capacity to carry out production tasks and implement specific orders, indicating the company’s interest in training industrial cadres on the uses of artificial intelligence.

He noted that «(the company) is preparing to use artificial intelligence in the future in cases of expansion and build new facilities and expand existing factories, with the aim of identifying the best new sites, to be close to services and equipment from the health authorities and facilities that provide them with their services. Plans to increase production, as it is a decisive factor in manufacturing hardware management and machines, so that employees are concerned with evaluating the quality of the product and carrying out packaging and selling operations, after manufacturing products through artificial intelligence.
