Ishiegi Hiroyuki, Secretary -General of the Japan International Exhibition Expo Osaka 2025, confirmed that the Expo 2020 Dubai will have a great role in the success of Expo Osaka, through the experiences and the distinguished organization that dazzled the world.

Ishiegi Hiroyuki said, in a statement to the correspondent of the Emirates News Agency “WAM” in Japan, that the UAE’s pavilion in the exhibition will be among the distinguished wings that reflect the progress made by the state in attracting global admiration in such exhibitions.

Expo Osaka 2025, which lasts six months from April 13 to October 13, 2025, is scheduled to be held on the artificial island“.

Ishiegi praised the distinguished organization of the Expo 2020 Dubai exhibition, stressing that they learned a lot from Dubai’s experience at various levels, and also expressed his appreciation for the participation of the United Arab Emirates, which hosted the Expo 2022, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which will host Expo 2030, in Expo Osaka that will focus On three sub -axes, they are “ensuring the sustainability of life”, “improving life”, and “enhancing life through communication“.

He revealed that “Expo Osaka 2025” includes the largest wooden constructions in the world, which is the major link that reaches two kilometers long surrounding the exhibition wings, and its surface turns into a walkway that gives a picturesque view of the city of Osaka and its Gulf, indicating that the event will witness the celebration of more than 150 days Nationally and especially to provide an opportunity to learn about the history of the participating countries and enjoy a trip around the world without a passport.

Ishiegi pointed out that 158 ​​countries, region and nine international organizations have announced their participation in the exhibition until now, stressing that construction work is progressing steadily, while more than 50 thousand volunteers, most of them young people, have submitted to participate in organizing the event..

He pointed out that the number of Arab countries participating in the Osaka exhibition has increased from seven countries in the previous exhibition in Japan in 1970 to 11 countries in Expo Osaka 2025, considering this an indication of the increasing interest from the Arab region.

Ishiegi considered that the Expo exhibition represents an opportunity for countries to enhance its economic diplomacy, as was evident in Expo 2020 Dubai, which witnessed the presence of French President Emmanuel Macron and 81 of the leaders of the country.
