He revealed that there is a specialized team that receives communications related to the crimes of children or the family, and is dealt with a great deal of secrecy and immediate intervention to solve them, and take legal measures in this regard.

Al -Mansouri added that the launch of the investigation or hotline call center comes within the framework of the crime reduction strategy before it occurred, or at least receiving assistance from the public to control the suspects at an appropriate time. He pointed out that it is remarkable in recent years a group of the public cooperated with the police in monitoring criminal and wanted phenomena, but communications usually come through the emergency line «999» or by heading to the center, but the new communication center provides 800cid or “800243” an opportunity to shorten a time Connecting information to the competent authority, which is the General Administration of Investigations, because some cases depend on the factor of time, whether in avoiding a crime or arresting a defendant before his escape.

He explained that the language factor does not stand in the way of receiving any call, as accredited translators are available to the General Administration of Investigations, as well as the majority of the administration officers are fluent in more than one language, and they can communicate with German, Russian, Urdu and French, in addition to Arabic and English.

He stated that the hotline of investigations is an important pillar in the rapid transition plan that the administration has always developed, through its police stations, which publish its patrols without causing the population inconvenience or giving the impression of the street militarization.

Al -Mansouri called on members of society not to hesitate to report the wrong practices that may pose an environmental, security or health danger, stressing that the administration provides full protection for the callers, but rather it appreciates well -cooperating in preserving the security and safety of the community.

He continued that it is possible to communicate with the investigations communication center through the email designated for the General Administration of Investigations, which provides an easy window to people who are not connected to the phone with disabilities or others.

Meanwhile, the head of public relations in the investigations, Lt. Col.
