14.28 billion dirhams in Dubai real estate sales since the beginning of the year


Real estate transactions in Dubai recorded more than 18.28 billion dirhams from the beginning of this year until today’s transactions (Friday), that is, during the first 7 days of 2025. Dubai real estate sales during the same period amounted to about 14.28 billion dirhams after implementing 3,973 transactions.
Monitoring conducted by Emirates Today, based on Dubai Land Department data, showed that the highest sales in Dubai during the first seven days of this year were led by the “Palm Jebel Ali” area, with a value of 1.85 billion dirhams, followed by the “Airport City” area, with a value of 1.7 billion dirhams. Then the “Al Yalayis 1” area, with a value of 1.05 billion dirhams. It was followed by the “Al Wasl” region, with a value of 719.32 million dirhams.
According to the data, real estate transactions during today’s transactions amounted to 3.27 billion dirhams, and included sales worth 2.92 billion dirhams, accounting for 89.27% ​​of the total.
The value of real estate mortgages amounted to 191.11 million dirhams, while the value of real estate donations amounted to 160.19 million dirhams.
This morning, the real estate market in Dubai witnessed a sale deal for a plot of land worth 1.4 billion dirhams, located in the “Airport City” area and extending over an area of ​​1.6 million square feet, equivalent to 814 dirhams per square foot. The Airport City area includes Al Maktoum International Airport, which is being developed to include the largest airport in the world in the future at a cost of 128 billion dirhams and a final capacity of 260 million passengers.
Thus, the real estate sector in Dubai continues to record unprecedented booms amid increasing demand for various types of residential and commercial real estate, which confirms the continued growth of the emirate of Dubai’s attractiveness as a global investment destination, and the importance of the sector as a strong economic pillar that supports development and sustainable growth.
