The Emirates Judo Federation is organizing the Japanese Ambassador Cup championship at the annual open country for young and young women, today, in the Federation Hall in Bani Yas.
The tournament will be held in cooperation with the Japanese embassy to the country and the Japanese Oil Development Company (Judco), with the participation of 180 players from various technical levels and weights.
The junior championship is witnessing the participation of 140 players, while 40 players participate in the junior competitions, and start in its introductory role at 10 am, with 8 qualifiers for the sexes.
The President of the Judo Union, Mohamed Bin Thaloub Al -Darai, stressed the importance of the documentary cooperation relations extending with the Japanese embassy to the state, in a way that contributes to the development of judo sport, in addition to the cooperation agreement with the Japanese Federation and the Japan University of Tokai by exchanging experiences and visits in various cultural and sports fields.
