Diop added, in statements to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” on the sidelines of the second day of the World Summit of Governments 2025 held in Dubai, that the UAE is one of the largest investors in the field of renewable energy in Africa, noting that the Foundation’s keenness to enhance cooperation with Emirati companies in various fields and sectors .
He explained that the Foundation is currently working to attract more investments from Emirati companies to Europe, Central Asia and Latin America, adding that the Foundation is working to ensure many investments and employ all its tools to facilitate the investments of Emirati companies in emerging countries.
He said that the International Finance Corporation intends to shift increasingly towards investing in stocks, noting that investing in stocks carries greater risks and is more volatile, so the institution adopts mechanisms to reduce the risks associated with investment in some of these geographical areas that would increase the ability of the private sector On growth and expansion.
He added that the UAE plays a pivotal role in advancing the process of sustainable growth in the countries of the world, stressing the keenness to continue cooperation, and described the relationship of the International Finance Corporation with Emirati companies as a strategy in light of its work with many partners to invest through continents in all sectors, especially the important sectors that contribute to payment The wheel of economic growth and a long -term development after development.
