The “Hafit Sports Challenge”, which is held in Al Ain with the participation of about 2000 athletes, witnessed the launch of the bicycle race, with the participation of 300 contestants from inside and outside the country.
The bicycle race was launched from the “Side” area on the Ain International Airport road, with the participation of nine major categories, which included various age groups and professional levels, and spanned 80 km, while a second race was held for a distance of 27 km for participants under 15 years.
The Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Bicycle Club, Ahmed Al Marzouqi, confirmed that the “Hafit Al -Riyadi Challenge” exceeded the ceiling of expectations before the start of its first version, thanks to the ambitious vision and great support by His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the representative of the ruler in the Al Ain region.
