Dubai Sports Council organized a community sports event dedicated to delivery workers in companies operating in the country, at the Dubai Sports World courts, in the Dubai World Trade Center, as part of the “Our Summer is Sports” initiative launched by the Council, with the aim of providing an opportunity for all segments of society to participate in various sports activities during the summer, and supporting the organization of sports events that contribute to spreading the culture of practicing sports and physical activity.
The event included fun sports and entertainment competitions in five different games: tug of war, football, volleyball, cricket, and arm wrestling, in which more than 320 delivery workers participated.
The event was attended by Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council, Ali Al Balooshi, Director of the Sports Events Department at the Dubai Sports Council, and Fawzia Faridoun, Director of the Community Sports Department.
