40 years of UAE diplomatic relations

The event, which is organized in cooperation with the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi and continues until tomorrow, includes many interactive activities that reflect the common values ​​and future vision that brings together both the Emirates and China, and revolves around the themes of contemplating the past and present and anticipating the future, highlighting the strong ties and important milestones. And the pivotal moments and the spirit of cooperation that brings together the UAE and China, these strong ties that have been strengthened over the past years, with the visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, to China last June.

The 100 Schools Project, which was launched in 2019, played a role in raising the level of Chinese language proficiency among Emirati students. More than 1,000 students have also graduated from the Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Center for the Study of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies in Beijing, since its establishment in 1994.

The UAE-China relationship dates back to 1984, when its foundations were based on the principles of mutual respect, understanding, and common goals. Today, this partnership is stronger than ever.
