Dubai Electricity and Water Authority organized 43 sessions, discussion seminars, and specialized workshops on the sidelines of the second day of the 26th session of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX). A group of experts and specialists from all over the world participated in the seminars.
The main seminars covered topics of new technologies in the fields of energy and digital transformation. The sessions of the Future Energy Prospects Forum, held on the sidelines of the exhibition, focused on the topics of renewable energy integration for a sustainable future in oil and gas. The sessions bore the titles “Opportunities for Renewable Energy Integration in Dragon Oil,” “Renewable Energy Innovations in the Oil and Gas Sector,” and “Overcoming… Challenges hindering the adoption of renewable energy in oil and gas,” “Sustainable energy integration innovations in the oil and gas sector,” “Best practices for the future of sustainable energy in the oil and gas sector.”
Renewable energy and sustainability seminars on the second day of the exhibition focused on shaping a resilient future by promoting energy efficiency, green buildings and climate finance.
The water seminars covered new applications of reverse osmosis technology and nanofiltration membranes in special separation processes, seawater desalination and innovative reverse osmosis systems, the latest developments in water solutions – innovations, sustainability and wastewater recycling, and nature-based solutions for wastewater treatment.
The Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services presented a seminar on first aid and a workshop on “cardiopulmonary resuscitation.”
Supplier relationship management sessions focused on the health and safety standards adopted by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, and the mutual benefit between Dubai Electricity and Water Authority and suppliers. The seminars also included an interactive session on supply chain management and supplier happiness champions, in addition to a session on the initiatives launched by the Supplier Relations Department at Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, to enhance the inclusion and empowerment of people of determination.
