4,700 participants in the Spence Dubai 92 bicycle challenge

More than 4,700 bicycles and bikes of various nationalities and ages participated in the “Spinens Dubai 92” bicycle challenge, which falls within the agenda of the International Bicycle Federation and within the World Bicycle Grano Fond events, and was held in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council, and qualified 350 of them from 11 A different age group to the World Bicycle Championship that will be held next October in Victoria Australia.
The race in its 15th edition, which was launched from the city of Expo Dubai, witnessed the participation of a large number of employees of national government institutions, provided by the Director General of the Human Resources Department of the Dubai government Abdullah Al -Falasi, Sami Al -Qamzi, the Vice President of the Emirates Bicycle Union, Mohammed Al -Qubaisi, and a large number of sports leaders.
Italian Francesco Lamon and Kazakhsan won the Omotzanova elections in the first place in the overall ranking of all groups of men and women, as they finished the race with record times of 2:01:47 and 2: 01: 49, respectively, leading the overall ranking. The Russian Maxim Orekhaf came second with a time of 2:01:47, and the Dutchman Jasper Verkwell with a time of 2:01:47, while the Egyptian, Ibtisam Zayed, and Al -Naitaniya Akvili, Jereqitan, second and third places with a second part, where they finished the race with a time of 2:01 : 49 and 2: 01: 49, respectively.
In the senior five competitions under the auspices of Aster, the yellow shirt category witnessed the victory of Sean Carey and Hill Bakhovin Von in the big final round.
In the adult category, Simon Cox and Adriana Sanchez won the blue shirt in the big final, where Cox crossed the finish line at 2:01:51 and Sanchez completed the race at 2:15:46.

Very proud to watch this large number of cyclists qualify for the UCI Gran Fondo World 2025 in Australia, which reflects the increasing growth of bicycle sport in the region.
