The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has confirmed that dealing with approved domestic labor recruitment offices allows one to benefit from several exclusive benefits and preserves the rights of the client, noting that it is subject to continuous oversight and follow-up by it, to ensure its adherence to legal standards and controls.

The Ministry explained, through its official pages on social media, that there are five exclusive benefits provided by approved domestic labor offices, which are the provision of trained domestic workers, and a two-year guarantee for the domestic worker, which includes replacing him or refunding fees according to certain controls, in addition to the transparency it provides in the matter. Announcing the cost of recruitment, and providing various packages according to the needs of employers and families, in addition to following clear mechanisms for resolving complaints in a way that guarantees the rights of both parties.

She confirmed that the executive regulations set seven obligations for offices that recruit domestic workers, which are: conducting the necessary medical examination for the domestic worker, informing the domestic worker of all the conditions that the employer requires him to have in terms of experience and academic qualifications, and ensuring the availability of an experience certificate in proficiency in the required profession, if it is. Among the professions in which the state requires certain certificates, such as nursing and driving cars, is also among the obligations to enable the assistant worker to view the job offer, which matches the model of the contract that will be concluded between him and the employer, and to obtain a His signature approving it, and providing a certificate from the relevant authorities in the domestic worker’s country that his criminal record is free of any previous convictions and that he is of good conduct.

She explained that the office also provides evidence of its dealings with officially approved entities in the country from which the assistant worker is recruited, in addition to providing evidence of its direct responsibility for paying any amounts as a commission, to facilitate the arrival of the assistant worker to the country and complete the contract, and for the assistant worker not to bear those amounts.

The Ministry confirmed that the assistant worker is required to have an academic degree or a certificate issued by an official body in professions that require specialization, such as nursing and driving.

The Ministry stated that there are three requirements for the temporary employment of domestic workers, which are that the office for recruiting domestic workers must be licensed in accordance with the provisions of the law and its executive regulations, and that the domestic worker must reside on a temporary employment system in the workplace specified by the beneficiary, unless otherwise agreed between each of the beneficiary. And the Domestic Workers Recruitment Office, and a contract must be concluded between the Domestic Workers Recruitment Office and the beneficiary according to the form prepared by the Ministry, with a copy of it being handed over to the Domestic Worker, in accordance with the mechanisms specified by the Ministry.

The Ministry’s latest statistics showed that the number of approved domestic labor recruitment offices in the country reached 122 offices, distributed across the various emirates of the country: 22 offices in Abu Dhabi, one office in Al Dhafra, 16 offices in Al Ain, 40 offices in Dubai, and five offices in Sharjah. One office in Kalba, the same in Khor Fakkan, 18 offices in Ajman, 12 offices in Ras Al Khaimah, and four offices. In Fujairah, one office in Dibba Al-Fujairah, and one office in Masafi.
