58 pilots compete in the sixth international paragliding championship

The sixth Sharjah International Championship for Purological Aviation, organized by the Emirates Air Sports Federation, was launched under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Executive Council, with the participation of 58 contestants and contestants from the best sailor pilots in the world representing 17 countries.

The Emirates Air Sports Federation Organization for this tournament comes within the framework of its continuous efforts to enhance the position of that sport inside the country and in the region in general, and to provide a global competitive platform for athletes to review their skills in a distinct professional environment.

The Air Sports Federation said in a press statement today, Sunday, that the Sharjah International Championship is witnessing a strong competition between sailor pilots, amid high levels, high performance and skills.
For his part, the Emirates Air Sports Federation said: “The continuous support from His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi Air Sports reflects the interest of the rational leadership in developing this field and enhancing the UAE’s position as a global center for these sports.”
