The Department of Education and Knowledge – Abu Dhabi announced the launch of 66 new policies to develop private education and early education institutions, indicating that they will come into effect during the current academic year.

Mubarak Hamad Al Muhairi, Undersecretary of the Department of Education and Knowledge, said during a press conference yesterday in Abu Dhabi, “The 39 updated private school policies fall within the main axes: the governance and operations axis, which includes 14 policies, the education and learning axis, which includes 11 policies, and the health and safety axis.” Integrated and includes 14 policies.
He added: “The department launched 27 new policies for early education institutions, distributed on the basis of seven policies under the governance and operations axis, eight policies under the learning programs and practices axis, and 12 policies under the integrated health and safety axis.”

The Department of Education and Knowledge confirmed its intention to conduct tours to verify compliance and obtain the opinions of private schools and early education institutions, in order to ensure accountability. It is expected that full compliance with most of these policies will be achieved in the next academic year.
