The Ports Police Station has released naval violations against 47 naval means, their activities and floating restaurants during December 2024, with a total violation of 67 naval violations, as a result of exceeding the period of licenses, and not following the safe maritime safety measures.

The Director of the Ports Police Center, Brigadier Dr. Hassan Suhail Al -Suwaidi, said that the center carried out a campaign in coordination with the Department of Economics and Tourism in Dubai, during which 118 naval means were audited, as part of its continuous efforts to educate the users of maritime means, enhance maritime security, and maintain maritime navigation , To ensure public safety and the commitment of everyone to maritime laws and regulations, and to ensure that preventive security measures are applied effectively, by users of marine means of all kinds.

He added: «These annual campaigns aim to educate the users of marine means in the first place, and to ensure the awareness and awareness of users and owners of the floating restaurants of the laws in force, in order to ensure their safety and the safety of their marine means, in addition to organizing the process of using these means in the maritime sector, and monitoring violators of laws at the time same”.

He explained that maritime violations included the establishment of activities without licenses, the use of the marine means after the end of its license and not to renew it, and the lack of commitment to safety procedures that are obligated to the safety of users and the marine environment, indicating that the center also recorded 26 criminal reports regarding the legal abuses of marine means of users.

Brigadier Al -Suwaidi emphasized the high readiness of the maritime security patrols in securing maritime navigation and monitoring violators, and the readiness of the marine rescue patrols in dealing with emergency maritime accidents, and responding to them in the shortest possible 24 -hour period.

For his part, the head of the General Disadmitter Department at the Ports Police Station, the head of the campaign team, Major Saeed Khalifa Al Mazrouei, stressed the need for all owners and operators of maritime means to local laws, and prescribed safety protocols, calling at the same time all members of the public to cooperate with the security services in the case Monitor any marine violations or violations.
