The Ministry of Education announced the details of the timetable for the first semester tests for the academic year 2024-2025, noting that the tests include grades three through twelfth for students of public and private schools that follow the Ministry of Education’s curriculum, starting from November 27 of this year, in group materials. The Ministry of Education has identified 8 guidelines for the end-of-semester exams of the first semester of the current academic year 2024-2025, which are applying the exams on paper for the third and fourth grades through real attendance at school, and applying the exams on paper for the fifth and ninth grades for all educational tracks in government schools during real attendance. At school, exams are administered on paper and electronically for the fifth and ninth grades for both tracks (general and advanced) in private schools through physical attendance at school, and an electronic written exam is applied for the English language subject for the twelfth grade.
The directives also included the application of exams on paper and electronically according to the subject and grade for grades five through twelfth, through physical attendance at school for all students in public and private education schools that apply the Ministry of Education’s curriculum. Twelfth grade students registered in private education schools take all their exams in government public education schools. Under joint supervision and coordination with school branch coordinators, students were urged to adhere to school uniforms and bring their computers to school during the exam period.
The Ministry confirmed that it is not permitted for teachers to read central exam questions, and it is excluded from those exams directed at third-grade students, as the male/female teacher is only allowed to read the questions without hinting at the answer.
