Emirates Airlines is investing in predictive maintenance techniques to enhance the efficiency of its fleet

Emirates Airlines has signed an agreement with Airbus to implement the “Skywise Fleet Performance+” system, applying for predictive aircraft maintenance and monitoring of the fleet health, in addition to the “Core X3” analysis platform, in the context of the carrier’s commitment to operational excellence and safety through the strategic management of the fleet.

The company stated, in a statement yesterday, that the adoption of this advanced system of “Airbus” will contribute to enhancing the reliability of the operating aircraft, while enabling strategic decisions based on data for the Emirates Airlines fleet of “A380” and “A350” aircraft.

She added that through the advanced capabilities of the “Core X3” platform, the engineering team in Emirates Airlines will be able to monitor the performance of the aircraft and their status in the actual time, determine possible problems during the flight, and take the necessary maintenance decisions during the stopping periods between flights.

The system “Skywise Fleet Performance Plus” is characterized by its ability to automatically monitor, before taking off, for cabin temperatures, operations and basic systems, supported by advanced analyzes, and the system also combines data of the ACMS monitoring system to monitor the performance of aircraft, and provides predictive diagnoses with alerts and solutions Aya, as well as providing comprehensive visions on the state of the Emirates Airbus A380 and A350 aircraft.

The integration of the “Core X3” platform will also contribute to enabling engineering teams to manage huge quantities of data, and linking various systems to a unified source of accurate and incidentally updated information, through an advanced user interface that facilitates use by different teams.
