Abu Dhabi Government Games launch with the participation of 2000 employees

The third edition of the Abu Dhabi Governmental Games Championship, which is organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, started with the participation of more than 2000 employees representing more than 45 government agencies from the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and its activities will continue until 19 of this month.

The competitions include 11 diverse sport, namely: football, shooting, pair, fitness, volleyball, table tennis, basketball, chess, and flying feather, all of which are held in Abu Dhabi Crake Sports Hep, and the International Sports Sports Resort, while running races are held at the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba, and bicycle races on the junction path for bicycle.

According to a press release from the Abu Dhabi Council: “The tournament will be held to celebrate the blessed month of Ramadan, and within the program of interaction and career well -being that aims to enhance the positive of employees, improve their performance and professional relationships, in addition to developing them at the personal and professional levels within the work environment, and the initiative also contributes to the positive impact on physical health and mental and psychological serenity, in a competitive and enthusiastic atmosphere that celebrates a spirit Challenge and teamwork. ”

The teams and individuals who represent government agencies are competing for a total prizes that exceed one million and 300 thousand dirhams, as part of the evening activities that start from nine in the evening.

For his part, the Secretary -General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, Aref Al -Awani, said in press statements: “After the successes of the past two versions, the third edition of the tournament will play a major role in motivating government employees to adopt an integrated healthy lifestyle that includes the physical, mental and social aspects, and enhancing acquaintance between employees in a positive sports environment, and motivating them to adopt exercise as a daily way of lifestyle that contributes to raising The quality of their lives, which establishes a more powerful, healthy and sustainable future. ”
