A group of foods has announced a change in the executive leadership, as part of its strategy to transform and future growth. As of June 2, 2025, Salmin Al -Amiri will take over the position of Managing Director and CEO of a food group, and Alan Smith will remain a group adviser to support the leadership of the leadership smoothly and ensure the continuity of the group’s development.
Alan Smith will step down from the position of CEO after his successful leadership of the group since 2020, where he supervised an exceptional transformation period that witnessed the expansion of “food” from two sectors to four main sectors, and the implementation of six strategic acquisitions, which led to a doubling of the group’s revenues from 2.1 billion dirhams in 2020 to 4.9 billion dirhams in 2024.
As the Managing Director and CEO, Saline Al -Amiri will focus on accelerating growth across the group’s four sectors, and enhancing the position of “food” as a world leader in the food and beverage sector. It will also develop the group’s business model to keep pace with the future, by enhancing digital transformation, employing artificial intelligence techniques, focusing on customers, and consolidating a culture of innovation.
Since May 2020, Al -Amiri held the position of Vice Chairman of a Group of Food, who played a major role in formulating the group’s long -term vision, including developing its ambitious strategy for 2030.
