Danata announced yesterday that it is currently working on the implementation of three main basic structures, at a cost of $ 110 million, as part of its global investments to develop the basic structures of its operations, and to enhance its capabilities in the field of shipping and logistical services through its global operations centers.

The company stated, in a statement, that it will highlight the details of those projects being implemented in the UAE, the Netherlands and Iraq, during its participation in the global air freight symposium organized by the International Air Transport Federation (IATA) in Dubai from 15 to 17 April 2025.

Hopkins explained that “Danata” is working to develop a new shipping center that extends over an area of ​​57 thousand square meters in the “Dubai South” area, with an investment of 27 million dollars, and it is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025, and the capacity of the handling of the center is up to 400 thousand tons of goods annually, and the facility includes a warehouse that is controlled with a temperature, and includes a mixture of storage shelves within narrow and wide corridors that allow the accommodation of Various types of shipments, in addition to special platforms to download and unload trucks with high smoothness.

He stated that “Danata” invests more than $ 70 million in “Danata City for Shipping” at the “Chipol” airport in Amsterdam, a fully automatic shipping center that extends over an area of ​​61 thousand square meters, which is scheduled to open in July 2025, and will be able to handle more than 850 thousand tons of goods annually.

Hopkins added that “Danata” is working to build a shipping facility in Erbil in Iraq on an area of ​​20 thousand square meters through an investment of $ 15 million, and this facility that will start work in July 2025 will contribute to double the capacity of the handling of “Danata” in Erbil by 300% to reach 66 thousand tons annually, and the center includes the “One Cargo” system, which is the superiority of modernity, which is taking various businesses and operation The main.
