Etihad Cooperative launches Eid Al-Adha promotions across branches and online, boosting stock, logistics and loyalty rewards to meet Dubai shoppers’ seasonal demand.

Etihad Cooperative launches Eid Al-Adha promotions to serve Dubai shoppers

Etihad Cooperative has unveiled a broad Eid Al-Adha promotions programme that will run across its network of branches and digital platforms, the retailer announced. CEO Mohammed Al Hashmi said the campaign includes discounts on hundreds of food and non-food items and a refreshed loyalty initiative to reward customers during the holiday period. The cooperative stressed that the Eid Al-Adha promotions are part of a wider operational readiness plan to manage the surge in shopper demand in the days ahead of the holiday.

Campaign scope and customer offers

The Eid Al-Adha promotions package covers a wide range of everyday essentials, seasonal food items and hospitality products, the cooperative said. Shoppers can expect price reductions on staple groceries, fresh meat and poultry, fruits and vegetables, as well as household and entertaining supplies. Offers will be available in-store and through the cooperative’s mobile app and online channels to reach customers across Dubai and beyond.

Inventory build-up for fresh and high-demand items

Management reported early stock increases, with particular emphasis on perishable categories that face the highest seasonal demand. Fresh meat, poultry, dairy and produce have been prioritised in replenishment plans to avoid shortages and maintain quality. The cooperative also expanded inventory of packaged staples and hospitality items to accommodate larger family gatherings and festive consumption patterns.

Operational readiness and logistics reinforcement

To ensure smooth service during the peak shopping window, Etihad Cooperative said it has boosted staffing levels and reinforced in-branch logistics. Additional manpower will support checkout, replenishment and customer service functions during extended hours. The cooperative has also strengthened its supply chain coordination and distribution schedules to reduce stockouts and maintain shelf availability across busy locations.

Price stability efforts amid global pressures

Al Hashmi acknowledged that maintaining price stability remains a priority despite volatility in global markets and supply chains. He noted that fluctuations in the cost of imported fruits, vegetables and other commodities can arise from weather conditions in exporting countries, higher shipping and freight costs, and geopolitical tensions affecting trade routes. The cooperative said it is working with suppliers to mitigate cost increases and shield consumers where possible.

Support for local suppliers and community partnership

Etihad Cooperative reiterated its support for local producers and suppliers as part of its community role in Dubai. The retailer said it continues to increase procurement from domestic vendors when feasible and to promote locally sourced products in its Eid Al-Adha promotions. This approach is framed as both a commercial strategy and a social commitment to bolster the local food economy and sustainable sourcing.

Loyalty programme and digital incentives

Alongside price offers, the cooperative is rolling out loyalty incentives including the “Millionaire Tamayuz” campaign as part of its rewards programme. Customers using the cooperative’s smart app and loyalty channels will benefit from targeted discounts, points accumulation and digital promotions tied to the Eid Al-Adha period. The cooperative signalled that its omnichannel promotions are designed to make shopping more convenient and value-rich for members and casual shoppers alike.

Etihad Cooperative to prioritise customer convenience and safety during the holiday

The cooperative emphasised that customer convenience and a high standard of service are central to the Eid Al-Adha campaign, with measures to ensure safe, efficient shopping. Store teams will maintain hygiene and quality controls for fresh items and offer faster checkout options where needed. Management also indicated continued monitoring of demand patterns to adjust stock and staffing in real time.

Etihad Cooperative described the initiative as part of its ongoing role as a trusted retail partner for Dubai residents, combining promotional value with operational preparedness to meet the seasonal needs of shoppers across physical and digital channels.
