Al Dhahira team coach, former international player Ismail Ahmed, confirmed that he is working on developing the players’ performance so that they have a distinctive style and fighting mentality, so that the team can prove its ability to compete in the first division league and obtain one of the two qualification cards to the ADNOC Professional League, stressing that he does not feel any awe of coaching the team after his experience coaching the reserve team of Al Ain team.
He explained in press statements: “I look forward to transferring to the team players all the experiences I gained during my career as an international football player, and what I benefited from the coaches I played under, and for my team to have the same mentality that I used to play the matches with, which is represented by the fighting spirit, solidarity with the rest of the team members, and a sense of responsibility.”
Ismail Ahmed confirmed that his team will hold a training camp inside the country during which it will play a number of friendly matches in preparation for the new season.
