“Finance” launches immediate services as part of the process of “zeroing bureaucracy”

The Ministry of Finance has launched a number of instant services based on modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, as part of its efforts to shorten the customer journey and eliminate bureaucracy.

The Acting Assistant Undersecretary for the Support Services Sector, Fatima Yousef Al-Naqbi, confirmed the Ministry’s success during the journey of “zeroing bureaucracy” in reducing the requirements and duration of obtaining its services, as some of them became instantaneous after previously requiring several days or hours, while many services now involve “Zero” is an attachment or document.

Al-Naqbi explained that some services that involve connection with multiple parties are now carried out through a single platform that integrates many services that were divided into more than one party. She noted the introduction of generative artificial intelligence techniques, to provide a smooth, easy, immediate and accurate experience without human intervention.

She said that the Ministry of Finance’s activity in this issue began with the first session of the “Customer Councils” initiative, which aimed to hear the opinions of customers and their vision of the experience with the Ministry’s services, and their suggestions for developing the services.
