For the second time.. “Expo Dubai” hosts the collection of relief aid in continuation of the “The UAE is with you, Lebanon” campaign

In continuation of the national relief campaign “The UAE is with you, Lebanon”, the Exhibition Center in Expo City Dubai will witness next Sunday, for the second time, activities collecting relief aid in support of the Lebanese brothers, in light of the great public demand, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State (may God protect him). And the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Office.

The implementation of all the activities of this public campaign comes under the supervision of His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs and Chairman of the International Humanitarian Affairs Council, as the campaign continues its relief activities in its second week in support of the brotherly Lebanese people, and in cooperation with various humanitarian institutions and associations. Charitable organizations in the country, with the aim of collecting cash and in-kind donations for those affected, wounded and injured in the current crisis.

In response to the large public response that required community interaction with the campaign in its first week; The collection and mobilization of humanitarian relief packages of food parcels and shelter supplies will be organized at the following locations and times: on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from nine in the morning to one in the afternoon, at Expo Center Sharjah, and on Sunday, October 20, 2024, from nine in the morning to one. Noon, at the Exhibition Center in Expo City Dubai.

In a related context, volunteers participate in coordination with the “Volunteers.Emirates” platform and other volunteer platforms in the country, and various groups and segments of society can deliver their in-kind donations to those concerned in the stores of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority in the Musaffah area in Abu Dhabi or in the stores affiliated with the Authority in Dubai or in The Authority’s offices are spread throughout the country.
