The “Pink Caravan” conducted examinations for 100,000 cases of breast cancer, recording 97,697 clinical medical examinations. Of these, 81,372 are women and 16,325 are men. This is an achievement that reflects the community’s commitment to participate in this vital initiative, and the efforts of the Friends of Cancer Patients Association in providing all means of support to confront the disease, and enhancing the role of early screening programs, thus increasing the chances of complete recovery.
The Friends of Cancer Patients Association explained to Emirates Al-Youm that 117 cases of women and one case of men were discovered during examinations over the activity of the Pink Caravan during its years of operation until today.
