Yesterday, Digital Dubai signed a strategic cooperation and partnership agreement with the Dubai Future Foundation, based on the shared goals of both parties in working to build national competencies that anticipate the future, with its concepts, technologies, skills and tools.
The agreement, which was signed on behalf of Digital Dubai, Executive Director of the Institutional Empowerment Sector in Digital Dubai, Tariq Al Janahi, and on behalf of the Dubai Future Foundation, Executive Director of the Future Design and Accelerators Sector, Saeed Al Falasi, stipulates building a strategic partnership between the two parties, to enhance the acquisition of future skills.
The agreement greatly supports young employees who join the Digitization Pioneers Programme, which is a program that aims to prepare future leaders from new graduates through a full-year training, based on building technical and behavioral skills, with a focus on the future outlook in dealing with developments and changes, and using the latest technologies. At the forefront of which is artificial intelligence and other related technologies, within what is known as the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Tariq Al Janahi welcomed the step, saying: “This agreement comes in line with Dubai Digital’s trends in enhancing its digital competencies, investing in its talents concerned with enabling the pioneering digital transformation process in the emirate, and providing them with advanced and diverse training sources for this purpose.”
