The young citizen, Ahmed Issa Al-Zubaidi (21 years old), clearly realized the magnitude of the great national responsibility placed on his shoulders, and that of his fellow students sent to study abroad, after the “fruitful meeting” that brought them together with His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, in The Irish capital, Dublin, last November, where he described them as ambassadors, “and they must show the honorable image of the state that looks forward to its children armed with education and knowledge, to contribute “With their experiences in the process of progress and advancement that the country is witnessing in all fields.”

Ahmed used the meeting, and specifically His Highness’s distinctive saying, “Your state does not give you promises…but solutions,” when he listened to the students’ problems, in striving diligently and diligently to overcome the obstacles and difficulties of alienation, especially “after His Highness affirmed and stressed the state’s interest, which we have always known, And its keenness to monitor our educational conditions, and provide all ways and means that help us exert more effort and perseverance, to achieve our goals of obtaining higher degrees to serve the nation,” according to Ahmed.

Athar Ahmed, on scholarship from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, armed himself with perseverance and hard work to achieve his childhood dream of obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine “following the example of my father, the doctor, whom I consider to be my role model and role model in life, especially after I closely touched on the humanitarian nature of this profession.” “It clearly represents providing a helping hand to patients and helping them recover, so that joy returns to their hearts and a smile appears on their lips again.”

Ahmed’s admiration for his “childhood dream” increased after he paved the way towards achieving it by passing the preparatory stage within a year, which is due, as he stated, “to the distinctive academic method, which relies on presenting the huge academic load related to the field of medicine in a gradual manner that contributes effectively.” “In increasing the process of assimilation and understanding necessary for the educational and academic process alike.”

Ahmed, a student in the second year – majoring in medicine – makes diligent efforts in his studies, and allocates specific times for them so as not to overwhelm them. Therefore, he does not hesitate to allocate weekends and vacations “to enjoy with friends and spend special times that reduce the burden and fatigue of studying.”

Periodically, Ahmed and his fellow students, especially Emiratis, in the same major go to “the natural places that Ireland abounds in, known for its distinctive geography, as there are many plains and plateaus, and a large number of lakes and natural reserves.” He added, “We are usually keen to organize home gatherings.” We prepare some traditional meals through which we restore the family atmosphere in the homeland, and we also discuss our educational matters and academic achievement, in addition to organizing dates for football matches, which is an advanced hobby. Which we continue to practice.”

Ahmed added, “Companionship while abroad is a bountiful spoil and a great victory, and it is difficult to neglect it under any circumstances. Its presence is of the utmost importance, as it contributes to enduring the difficulties and hardships of expatriate life, as well as alleviating the pain resulting from distance from the homeland, and the absence of family, loved ones, and friends whom we miss.” “Severely.”

On the same side, Ahmed believes that the country’s embassy is “an integral part of the companionship of expatriates, as it is always keen to provide all means that would enrich our educational process and overcome the difficulties that may arise.”
