The Head of State receives the Saudi Minister of Defense

Yesterday, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Defense of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State. Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Office.

During the meeting that took place at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom. To His Highness the President of the State, and their wishes for the UAE’s continued progress and prosperity, while His Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman conveyed his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman discussed the established fraternal relations between the two countries, and the paths of their cooperation in all fields, in a way that supports their common interests and achieves the aspirations of their peoples towards development and prosperity.

The meeting also discussed developments in the situation in the Middle East region, regional and international issues of concern to the two countries, and the importance of strengthening efforts to maintain the security, peace and stability of the region.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the State, Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council, Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, and Head of the Office of the President of the State for Strategic Affairs and Head of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei.
