During the meeting, ways to strengthen economic relations between the two friendly countries were discussed, especially in vital areas including the energy sector and mineral exploration, in addition to discussing opportunities to expand strategic partnerships and enhance the exchange of expertise and modern technologies, which contributes to supporting comprehensive development and economic prosperity in both countries.
On the sidelines of the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two countries to enhance their bilateral relations in the areas of developing investments in the field of energy, mineral exploration, and other related fields. This agreement comes in light of the results of the official visit made by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the Federal Republic of Brazil last November, and his meeting with President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries in various fields of interest.
