A female citizen suffered a brain hemorrhage as a result of high blood pressure during childbirth at Saqr Government Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah, which led to her entering a coma, and doctors were able to extract the fetus in good health. The director of the hospital, Dr. Youssef Al-Tair, said that the citizen was suffering from high blood pressure during pregnancy, which negatively affected her health condition during the birth process, explaining that the high blood pressure caused her to suffer from convulsions and a continuous state of epilepsy during the birth process, and a cerebral hemorrhage. And she went into a complete coma.

He pointed out that as soon as the patient suffered a brain hemorrhage, she was immediately admitted to the intensive care room and placed on artificial respirators. Al-Tair explained that the birth process was performed and the fetus was removed naturally and that it did not suffer from any health problems or complications, as a result of the mother’s exposure to high blood pressure and the convulsions accompanying the birth process. He pointed out that women suffering from high blood pressure during childbirth are rare cases that may occur once a year, pointing out that the hospital recorded, during the past year, a woman suffering from high blood pressure during childbirth and a cerebral hemorrhage. She received treatment and was discharged from the hospital after her condition improved. .
