His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, affirmed that the celebration of the anniversary of the founding of Zayed II Military College is a celebration of the achievements of 50 years of work and success, and the consolidation of the values of loyalty and sacrifice in defending the nation and its gains.
His Highness said – in a speech on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of Zayed II Military College – that the college’s journey reflects the strong will and sincere determination of the founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and his fellow founding fathers, which resulted in achievements that the UAE can boast of to the nations of the world.
His Highness said: “We express our great pride in what the leading college has provided over the past decades, and what the generations of officers graduating from it have represented, as honorable models of qualified national military competencies, in accordance with the latest academic programs and the most advanced and effective practical training mechanisms. To support the homeland army with strong arms, smart minds, leadership visions, and creative ideas.”
His Highness stressed that “the coincidence of the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the Zayed II Military College with the golden jubilee of the UAE carries a clear indication of the importance of the role of this institution in building the state’s edifice, empowering it, ensuring its unity and stability, defending its just causes, and keeping pace with its accelerating development process at various levels.” This role reflects the essence of the UAE’s civilizational mission. Aiming to build a brighter, more secure, more peaceful and more tolerant future for its children and all the peoples of the world.”
His Highness also stressed that the great achievements and distinguished reputation enjoyed by the college require it to maintain its excellence and leadership, by providing it with the latest means and capabilities, to ensure continued progress towards the ranks of the most advanced and modern military academies in the world, in line with the principles of the “Fifty-Year Document” that It charts the course of our dear homeland and its right approach, built on consolidating the foundations of development, peace and security.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also affirmed, on the anniversary of the golden jubilee of the Zayed II Military College, that the college preserved its legacy, as it was a factory for men, and provided our armed forces with successive groups of graduates.
His Highness said: “On the anniversary of the golden jubilee of the Zayed II Military College, which coincides with the state’s celebrations of the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of the Union, I extend my gratitude and gratitude to the builders of the nation, who, with their vision, determination and giving, built the high edifice of our armed forces, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. His Highness said, “The Fifty-Year Principles Document adopted by His Highness the President of the State, focuses in its first principle on that the major priority for the next fifty years will remain strengthening the Union and consolidating its institutions, as our military institutions – including the Zayed II Military College – have played their role in protecting and strengthening the Union.” During the past fifty years. We are counting on it and our armed forces to continue for the next fifty years to perform this great role in serving the Union and protecting the people of the Union.”
His Highness congratulated the graduates of the 46th candidate course, whose graduation coincided with our country celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of its union, for reaching this stage in their scientific and military careers.
His Highness called on them not to stop at a certain level of knowledge, academic and military achievement, and training… “Today their transition to a stage of hard work and gaining experience and creativity in the fields of honor and manhood has begun.”
His Highness said: “We are confident that the Zayed II Military College will continue its journey with merit, responsibility and professionalism, and will remain an inexhaustible source that flows into the vein of our armed forces, seeking the support of the victorious leadership that will spare no effort in raising it, progressing and advancing it, to be in the ranks of military colleges and academies.” “University, and the efforts of the zealous sons of the nation who pledged themselves in sacrifice for the nation and in defense of its pure soil.”

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, said that Zayed II Military College is one of the most important and oldest military educational edifices in the United Arab Emirates, as it accompanied the establishment of the state from the beginning.
