According to the testimony of a witness from Dubai Police in the Public Prosecution’s investigations, information from a reliable source was received by Dubai Police about the accused taking narcotic substances and possessing a quantity of them inside his residence in a well-known tower in the Business Bay area in Dubai.

After legalizing all the procedures, the Dubai Police arrested the accused, accompanied by another young man and two girls. A search of his apartment found under the table a paper roll containing tobacco mixed with hashish, a plastic box containing a bag containing another quantity, and a third bag in the refrigerator. After examining the case, the Dubai Criminal Court acquitted the young defendant of all charges against him except the drug charge, and ruled that he be imprisoned for six months, more than which he spent in detention, so it was decided to release him.


The court acquitted the accused of possessing and cultivating Indian cannabis plants in his home and facilitating drug use for a minor girl.
