He said that they were able to seize 88 passports, including 61 cases of fraud in various Dubai ports, including the Al Maktoum and Dubai International airport, the Hatta Al -Bari outlet, and the ports. The passport officer had seized 1069 fake passports, last year, including 657 cases of fraud, 391 personal impersonations, and 21 distortions.

He pointed out that the second -class officers transform sensitive cases into third -grade officers, and they are present at the document examination center, to ensure the safety of passports using modern devices and technologies in the center, which includes about 50 employees and they are trained to reveal the means of forgery and fake documents.

Al -Najjar continued that the fourth means is phosphorous fiber, which is distributed at the level of all leaves, and phosphorous inks, which are information printed on passport papers, adding that “the inks and phosphorous fibers do not see the naked eye, and they appear only when exposed to ultraviolet radiation.”
He continued that the sixth means is the microscopic printing of information on the passport that can only be read by the microscope, and the seventh is the changing inks, which are a variable ink in color according to the location of the paper and the lighting on it, and the prominent printing on the leaves, and the ninth is the watermark with an electronic nature.
He continued that the 10th means is to print decorations and complex inscriptions on the passport sheet in different colors with the technology of “Kilosh”, in addition to the thread of the multi -colored page, and it is located in the middle of the passport, pointing out that “the safety means in passports are the same used in the papers Cash, which indicates that it is no less important in using the best means to protect them from forgery. ”
An international center for setting training standards
The Director of the Documentation Examination Center, expert Aqeel Ahmed Al -Najjar, said that the General Administration of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai aspires to develop the center during the next five years, so that it is international, and sets global standards for passports examination methods, and standards for training officers to examine and detect the forgery of the trust.
