The mother of the child Salem Ali Al -Shehhi (six years), who died of electricity in Ras Al Khaimah, said last week that it was the neglect that killed her child, as on the day of the accident he was playing with his sisters and his younger brother in the house hall, while she was performing her household work, After seven minutes, he disappeared, and I looked at him inside the house and did not find it, so I rushed to the external scene and found the door open, and when I went out, I found the door of the electricity converter room open – unusually – and I looked inside and found it lying on the ground.

The mother added, to «Emirates Today», that his body was hot, and tried to spend it, but to no avail, so I went to the emergency and accidents department at Saqr Hospital, but he had died of an electric shock.

And she continued: “My son, who was born after five daughters, was killed by neglect, because the door of the transformer room was not closed in a tight manner, and we do not know who left it open.” He does not be patient with that except that he is God’s destiny and destiny. ”

She explained that she “is constantly monitoring her children, and she did not expect that the door of the transformer room corresponding to their house will be open, without the concerned authorities taking the necessary measures to close the door, to protect children from danger.”

She stated that the concerned authorities in the Ras Al Khaimah police attended her home the day before yesterday, and took their statements to investigate the incident.

In addition, the Federal Electricity and Water Authority opened an investigation regarding the death of the sheet child with a shock in a room for the electric transformer in the Al -Seha area in the Emirate of Ras Al -Khaimah, and the general manager of the authority, Engineer Mohamed Saleh, said that “the authority is awaiting the report of Ras Al Khaimah Police and forensic medicine on the causes of death, to include them To its final report, adding that “the internal investigation of the authority focuses on the adapter maintenance dates, and the visits conducted by the specialized employees to examine it, and the disclosure of any points in it was the cause of the accident.”

He pointed out that “the commission opened an investigation, to determine the causes of the child’s death accident and hold the caused accountable, and began its procedures to review the insurance and fencing of all electrical transformers rooms in the areas covered by the authority at the state level, especially those that are located inside the residential areas.”

The mother confirmed her continuous monitoring of her children, and her lack of expectation that the door of the transformer room be open.
