She explained that the maximum period available for a high school graduate to join colleges and government universities is three years.
In detail, citizenship (S, P) stated that she finished her high school studies three years ago, adding that after obtaining a high school diploma, she went to a study of civil engineering in a public university in the country, and after starting studying and ending basic education courses, she started studying specialization courses For four consecutive semesters, then decided to change its academic specialization, but the university administration did not agree to this change because it exhausted the opportunities to change the permissible specialization, because it changed the science of science and went to engineering, which led her to change the university in which she studies.
She continued, “I went to registration in the upper technology colleges in the Emirate of Sharjah, considering that its location is close to my family’s house, but the admission and registration department refused to accept my registration in the upper technology colleges, due to the passage of three years since my high school diploma, and I informed me of the lack of a seat for me due to the completion of the number Registered with new high school graduates, pointing out that she had to register at a private university in order to be able to complete her studies.
Citizen (Abu Khalid) said that he registered in a public university as soon as he graduated from high school and was accepted, but a satisfactory condition that he had prohibited directly by university study, which forced him to travel outside the state for treatment, and he remained there for a year and a half, indicating that after To finish his treatment and recovery, see the university in which he was registered before he traveled for treatment, but she informed him that he could not study it in it because the previous application related to studying at the university was canceled, and the completion of the capacity available from students.
He added, “I was unable to go to study at a private university due to my limited material income, which was not allowed to study at a private university, in addition to that the study fees in private universities have become financially expensive, which forced me to work with a high school diploma, in one of the government departments.” .
He called on government colleges and universities to open the way for citizens from high school graduates in previous years, who have gone through more than three years to finish their high school studies, so that they can complete their university studies.
