He said that the pandemic imposed major challenges from its inception, most notably the provision of sufficient stocks of vegetables and fruits, to support the strategic stock of the state, which prompted the opening of new markets. Other challenges include high prices of vegetables and fruits in exporting countries, high shipping prices, and the need for a periodic and continuous examination of workers, which necessitated the development of a plan to ensure the provision of products while maintaining prices, especially since the concern prompted many members of society to store large quantities of commodities in their homes .
He stated that the company was keen to develop a plan to protect workers by distributing them to several areas, to ensure that the epidemic did not spread between them, and to ensure the continuation of the service.
He emphasized the company’s readiness, in cooperation with his partner, Mohamed Al -Rifai, to provide its societal services continuously, as long as it is required.
He added: “The company mocked the efforts of about 4,000 workers for its community initiative, who provided their services to about 70 sites distributed at the state level.”
