It is also punished with imprisonment for a period not exceeding one year, a fine of no less than 50 thousand dirhams, and not more than 200 thousand dirhams, or one of these two penalties, whoever uses animals for the purposes of scientific experiments without obtaining a license from the competent department or the competent authority.
In response to a question about the law of having dangerous animals, the minister said that “all personal permits for the acquisition of fierce animals were canceled, in order to preserve the safety of society.
