The “Important” initiative aims to empower female recruits of the eleventh batch of national service with skills, enhance their readiness for the future, and provide them with the necessary tools to develop their professional and practical path, through a specialized future skills-building program that continues over a period of seven months and is implemented in partnership with the best national expertise.

Major General Pilot Sheikh Ahmed bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan stressed the importance of the strategic partnership between the Authority and the Office of Government Development and the Future in the field of training and qualifying the female category of national service recruits, in line with government directions aimed at empowering Emirati women, as the UAE Constitution approved the principle of equality between them and women. The man, as appropriate to her nature, and the Emirati legislator gave her the opportunity to join national service voluntarily, to participate in giving back to her homeland.

He said that this initiative gains its importance from the segment that benefits from it, which is Emirati women, who are considered half of society, as female national service recruits will have the opportunity to train, qualify and prepare for the labor market, through many specialized training programs, which will be held in cooperation with a number of partners specialized in this field. This contributes to providing female recruits with new skills and knowledge, in addition to focusing on empowering them in the professional, digital and technological fields in preparation for the future.

He added that education is the path to the advancement, progress and well-being of peoples, and is the way to improve the intellectual and cultural skills of Emirati women, which have received great attention and care from the leadership, under the umbrella of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

For her part, Ohood Al Roumi stressed the importance of arming female national service recruits with future skills, and empowering them with a new model that enhances the concept of future readiness in national service, builds the capabilities and readiness of female recruits, and constitutes an incentive for them to continue learning and self-development, and acquire the necessary skills to participate effectively in building the future of the UAE.

The Minister of State for Government Development and the Future said that the initiative reflects the directions of the UAE, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and the visions of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to consolidate the lofty values ​​of national service. Empowering Emirati women, paying attention to youth and developing their skills to participate in building the future of the country.

She added that the partnership between the Office of Government Development and the Future and the National and Reserve Service Authority, within the “Important” initiative, focuses on empowering female recruits digitally, technologically and professionally, and providing them with the best future skills, in cooperation with the best national and international expertise in the private sector and academic institutions.

The “Hamah” initiative program to enhance the readiness of female national service recruits for the future, which extends for seven months, focuses on four main groups of future skills, including digital skills, creative skills, professional skills, and personal skills, through which female members participate in more than 50 specialized training and workshops. .

The training activities include workshops aimed at supporting the journey of exploring opportunities and competing in the future labor market, through programs that focus on empowering them professionally, digitally and technologically, and providing them with basic skills to increase their readiness, hone their skills, and develop their professional potential.

The topics covered by the “Hamah” initiative programs include many fields, such as programming skills, artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, automation, virtual reality, augmented reality, big data and their analysis, and other scientific and technological topics, in addition to the skills of designing ideas, innovation, creative skills, and flexibility and thinking skills. Proactivity, self-development and goal-setting skills, communication skills, customer service, and project management.
